You know that feeling moms get the first time they drop their kid at school for the first time? I felt like that today and Eva is 9!! When she was younger I never had issues leaving her anywhere because she was naturally social. Now kids are selective about who they socialize with it seemed sad dropping her at day camp as she sat there alone looking for someone to talk to. I told her to assert herself like I do and if the girls are snobs make friends with the boys. In my experience the guys have always been the best of friends and they still are.
