You know that you are working for NASA when...your title has 3 or more acronyms... I am now the new MPCV GN&C Lead for NASA IV&V. So, spelled out, I am now the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Guidance Navigation And Control Lead for the National Air and Space Administrations Independent Verification And Validation Program. So, I am going to be the Lead for a bunch of Rocket Scientists who are all working to make sure that the replacement to the Space Shuttle is as safe for humans as it can possibly be. The good news is that since the team is made up of Guidance experts, they should already have some idea of where were going. The bad news is that I dont know how the heck I am going to get that on a business card! In short though, they are all a bunch of really smart people and I will be honored to be their Lead. I will be sad to leave the ground systems. I have really enjoyed working with KSC. But it will be nice to get back to my area of expertise.
