In Jesus Christ, you are headed for a glory of unsurpassing beauty and a home in heaven, beyond Alpha Draconis; and one of these days or nights the trumpet will sound “within your soul,” and you “ain’t got long to be here.” To you, unsaved friend, let me simply say, and as simply and as childlike as I know how, read John 3:16, Romans 10:9, 10, and John 1:12, and take the Lord Jesus as your Saviour before the final curtain goes up on the last act, and his majesty the Devil appears. Return to the old-time religion. Forsake the path of God-forsaken Catholicism, and admit to God that science, art, religion, medicine, philosophy, literature, psychology, fame, travel, fortune, psychosomatics, neurophysiology, nuclear physics, quadratic equations, integral calculus, analytic geometry, history, astronomy, electronics, finance, sports, publicity, drinks, amusements, organic chemistry, pleasures, business, hobbies, marriage, divorce, separation, houses, lands, cars, planes, babies, and Rome have all failed to give you peace with God and absolute assurance of sinless perfection at death. Come clean, my friend, and own up to your stubborn self-righteousness and take off your mask of religious humbuggery and come to Jesus AS A SINNER, trusting HIS righteousness to save you (Rom. 10:1-13). “Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge [science!!], and did not choose the fear of the Lord” (Prov. 1:24-29). There are no other alternatives. All infinity and time and eternity are are bound up in two responses: “Come, ye blessed” and “Depart...ye cursed” (Matt. 25).
