You know what? Although I can practically play any stringed instrument (without a BOW, except on my Electric Guitar) if I was given at least a DAY to play something, I have admittedly NEVER been a DANCER. :( I did take 2 months of Flamenco, and 2 months of Jazz and Ballet, however, so it cannot be said that I didnt at least TRY. My talents pointed to providing the MEDIUM from which dancers can enjoy THEIR Craft, and that Artistic switch has left me fulfilled in SO MANY ways, SO MANY times. I LOVE WATCHING PEOPLE DANCE--especially if they dance WELL. Dancing is an Artistic expression only granted as a Heavenly Gift to a select and dedicated FEW, and sadly, I wasnt included in that number. :) This is an AWESOME vid, provided by a good friend of mine, Andie Jones, and it shows us an equally awesome bit of EDITING, something my son Jordan Gonzalez Jose does for a living with his job for the Jabbawockeez. I watched this intently, marveling at how the many clips of dance were incorporated so skillfully into the Music. It was like watching a tapestry being wove in front of my very eyes! Its not WHAT you do, but how much PASSION you put into your chosen Craft that will make you STAND OUT from the rest of the wannabes. But hey... wannabes sometimes grow up to become PROFESSIONALS! So never abandon your dreams, Good People... even if you think others are laughing at you. Its THEIR way of making up for a talent YOU have, and they dont. :D
