You know what grinds my gears... When people try to belittle, ridicule and simply negatively judge others because of their appearance and the way they choose to portray themselves... This is even more deplorable when people try to make it an argument having to do with race... For example... As a black woman... Why would you yourself be concerned as per the reasoning as to why so many black women bleach, or dye or even straighten their hair... First of all... It is that persons prerogative as to how they wish to portray themselves... Why do you find the need to take it upon yourself to be an advocate for the plight of Black women... When it was a black woman who made the choice to do so... This is why our beautiful planet has so much strife as it is... Wars are fought because people believe the ideals of the few should be forced upon and adhered to by the masses... When conflicting views collide and the portrayer of a said view are stubborn in their ways and no one wants to secede their view in even the feeblest attempt to quell unrest ... That is when trouble arises for all of us... Simply... How about working on your own self... Cleaning your own aura should be the order of your day... Not trying to tear down someone elses visions... Whoa... That escalated quickly...
