You know whats messed up? Being raised on and encouraged by the idea of a dream job for 22 years. Like making it through college is some sort of light at the end of the tunnel and not only do you get rewarded with the knowledge of what you want to do with the rest of your life but the career to accompany it. Then, when the disillusionment fades, we as a generation are scalded for not getting some menial-ass job to make ends meet. But, wait, wasnt that the point? To indebt myself with an education as a form of collateral? Were just training to be overqualified to be underrepresented. What a vicious cycle...
