You know with the Bengals having a lot of room under the cap, and ageing and boy do I mean ageing defensive backs, they could have made it seem they were players for Darrelle Revis, or a lesser extent Aqib Talib. Leon Hall two blown achilles, Terence Newman mid thirties, Adam Jones a court room hearing away from not being on the team anymore, Dre Kirkpatrick third year player drafted in the first round who when healthy couldnt beat out a smaller Adam Jones. And thn there is the safety issue we have. Are we going to release Chris Crocker again just to resign him again before the first game when we realize we dont have a safety on our roster worth a damn. We could have made a bid at Byrd from Buffalo but lets not go after the number one safety in free agency because, well damn I dont have a good reason. Now I have heard it all. I have heard that with all of the money the Bengals have they may be saving it to try and convince Kapernick to come to Cincinnati next year. Seriously, seriously, he may be a good quarterback but with a speed back like Gio I want someone with an arm that can throw the ball on a rope 40 yards down field when A.J. has beaten his double coverage. I wouldnt mind them signing Legarrette Blount, he is a beast on the short yardage and redzone areas, as long as recently signed again for some damn reason Marvin damn Lewis watches what the Pats and Bucs did with him the past two years.
