You know you did something right when Jared Bernstein calls your party a rockin one. I cannot thank enough all the people that came together to celebrate 10 years. In the words of Alan Smith, its a honor to be a part of a crew that can legitimately throw down one evening and show up at the White House and impress the next. Heres to another 10 years. --- It was my privilege last night to give the keynote presentation at the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network’s 10th anniversary party. Why me? Because when they started out a decade ago, I recognized what a great idea they had and tried to help a bit. What they’ve accomplished since then is remarkable and gives me hope for the future. Plus, they were having a rockin’ party with an open bar, yet not only did they stop and listen to 15 minutes of my gum flapping, but they quite madly applauded when I talked about the importance of interdependent utility functions. Them’s my kind of nerds.
