You must learn how to reslove previous conflicts or the emotional baggage will accumulate as you continue to withdraw from life. The past will control your life as your options for handling it continues to decrease. 1. Evaluate your past experience in light of who you are now. ( I am a child of God, loved, accepted and forgiven) 2.Forgive those who have offended you. a.Forgiveness is required by God (Matthew 6:14-15) b.Forgiveness is necessary to avoid entrapment by Satan. (2 Corithians 2:10-11) c. Forgiveness is standard operating procedure among all believers. (Ephesians 4:31-32) d.Forgiveness is the means to resolving to live with the consequences of anothers sin.
