(You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. Le 19:16-18) Our words talking about others have a threefold poison; it injures the teller, the hearer, and the person concerning whom the tale is told.Whether the words we speak about someone be true or false, we are by God’s Word forbidden to spread it. The reputations of the Lord’s people should be very precious in our sight, and we should count it shame to help the devil to dishonor another person. However, God permits us to censure sin, It must be done by rebuking our brother or sister to his face, not by railing and tale bearing behind their back. This must be done in love Christlike, with the leading of the Holy Spirit.Jesus has set a gracious example when He rebuked the ones he loved His firm but gentle way,His patience.(Peter answered and said to Him, “Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.” Jesus said to him,“Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” Mt 26:33-34 ) God knows each one of us, He knows our heart our reason for what we do. These verses tell us how we should treat one another. all people..(And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Lk 6:31-38
