You wanna hear an AMAZING STORY? This morning Tony couldnt find his wallet. No news story there. Thats a regular occurrence around here. I wasnt worried at first. But then after a couple hrs and knowing we were required drivers licenses to board the plane (tomorrow morning for Mexico), I started worrying with him. We turned the house and cars upside down. Then he remembered when we left church yesterday, that he possibly laid it on top of the car while he took off his jacket. OH NO. I called the church....they looked. Nothing. So we decided to drive down 25 miles to the church and look around in the ditches, parking lot, etc. Just north of the church as Im driving along and scanning, I see a trifold wallet lying on the side of the road opened. I saw a drivers license and hit the brakes! NO WAY! I back up and pull over facing the wrong way on the side of the road. I jump out nearly before Im in park and sure enough, its his face staring up at me from the wallet! 6 inches from the road! I couldnt believe it! We knew there had been about $300 cash in there and as I picked up the wallet and looked in the peoples yard, I notice that there is cash scattered around in the grass not far from the wallet! I was running from bill to bill picking them up and praising Jesus! WE got it all back! The cash, the credit cards, driver license, everything that was in there! I jumped in the card and threw him the stuff I had gathered and he was just in shock too. How in the world did all that stuff lay there in someones yard for over 24 hours and not get taken? Its a MIRACLE. Tony just kept saying Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord. Thats a busy road and its only possible because the Lord indeed was watching out for us. We are still just shaking our heads in amazement. God is Good.
