Your Assignment What has God put in your heart to be and do? What are the passions of your heart? What moves you to anger, and to tears? What matters most to you in life? What fills your heart and thoughts? We all have an assignment given to us from God our Father. We find purpose and fulfillment as we follow his plan for our lives. Never try to be somebody else, take on their ministry, mimic or envy their gifts. As long as you follow that path you are depriving the world of a wonderful gift: You. You are different and there is a reason why. You are specially created to fulfill a specific place in God’s kingdom. You can touch people that no one else can touch. You can accomplish things that nobody else can accomplish. You will find joy in your own heart and others will enjoy being around you when you are walking in your God-ordained call: preacher, teacher, plumber, doctor, lawyer, cashier, etc. God has called us to be the salt of the earth. Salt is of no use until it is shaken out of the salt shaker. God places His people in strategic places where they can bring the flavor of God’s love to people’s lives. Bloom where you are and be a glory to your Maker.
