Your Morning Weather Update: Well the gardens been watered!!! Literally. Todays forecast: Passing cloud some heavy rain showers may still pop up this morning but otherwise clearing and becoming mostly fine, Some rain could come back through this evening or overnight into Saturday as there is a big low circling below Stewart Island which is pushing these rain bands over us. Saturday will remain a mixed day by the looks. Some places may get showers while others may get just passing cloud.. Once the low moves east things will start to clear up more which is some stage on Sunday. Where a cooler southerly will develop. Some snow may fall mostly on the Southern Alps and the Central Plateau over the next day or two. Good news for the skiiers and boarders out there. Antarctic storm has fizzed out!
