Your Turn - Discipline in Schools: This week’s Your Turn segment goes to Sherrie Roberts. She was one of many people who posted on our Facebook page this week in response to the 9News I-Team investigation into the threats facing teachers in East Baton Rouge schools. Roberts and others who wrote think the discipline issues start in the home and that parents should be held accountable. In her words: Its a wonder anyone wants to teach these days. I agree. Its not just in Baton Rouge. No respect taught at home, so there is no respect for those who really want to help teach kids to learn and become responsible human beings.
