Your faith will never rise above your confession. If you want strong faith, you have to have a strong confession. Sunday was the third sermon in the series “Secrets to faith”. What have you been confession? The most important confession is the confession that comes from your heart. When the confession that comes from your heart is in harmony with the confession that comes from your mouth, your prayer life will start to change dramatically. When you pray and you declare things, your confession must have your heart’s full agreement. Understand the position you hold in Christ. God has made your righteous. The only basis for God to answer your prayers is what Jesus Christ did on the cross. Are you confessing what Christ has done for you on the cross or are you confessing what you are seeing around you? When you know you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you will start to step out of that narrow path of defeat and failure, and into that great abundance and fullness that God has got for you. Righteousness produces miracles. Most Christians live a life only thinking God has saved them from sin. The thing to meditate upon is that you have eternal life. When you have eternal life, your way of thinking about a lot of things will change. You have life with God forever. You have His kind of life in your life now. Let your confession line up with that. God clearly links prayer and faith with forgiveness. If you want your faith to be strong, you should be able to forgive. Walk in love. You confession rules you. Our confession is our attitude before the Father. Keep your solid front. The most important thing to confess is that Jesus Christ is our Lord; that Jesus Christ is the One who is going to give me victory. Confess what the word of God says about you. If you hold a position in Christ, and you have eternal life, your position has changed from one of defeat and failure to one of success. Your confession gives you possession.
