Your history is your story. Whether its good or bad, happy or sad, it is YOURS. Take pride in your history, be it family, nation, people, country, planet, etc, if you think you need to apologize for certain actions then do so, if you believe you should be commended for others then speak up, but whatever you do, dont try to hide anything. Hiding history or trying to rewrite it the way you want it to sound only makes you look like an idiot.
