Your history lesson for today - we ventured out and across to the other side of Sydney to Vauclause House, construction began in1805 with a small cottage. Vauclause was built for William Wentworth of Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson fame who were the first to cross the Blue Mountains. The building was added onto over a number of years. John and I enjoyed a private tour with extra access to some areas, it was a lovely day. Well apart from the traffic. - but that is another story!!!
