Your moment of Zen and musical bliss today comes from the Bryan - TopicsExpress

Your moment of Zen and musical bliss today comes from the Bryan Ferry Orchestra and the debut CD The Jazz Age. If the name Bryan Ferry sounds familiar it is because he was a founding member and singer of Roxy Music. The Jazz Age features a number of Roxy Music songs arranged in the style of the late 1920s early 1930s big bands (e.g. Fletcher Henderson and WC Handy). It is an interesting CD as it does a great job of letting you hear the big band style of that era. And besides, you all wanted to hear Do the Strand done by a swing band, didnt you? You can also catch the Bryan Ferry Orchestra on the soundtrack to the movie The Great Gatsby (the one with Leonardo DiCaprio).
