Obama endorsing a crooked politician, John Tierney, who recently had his investigation about $200,000 of campaign funds get tabled, is just sickening. I never thought any big name politician would endorse Tierney, but the President? Really? Does anyone with a D next to their name deserve your endorsement? Tierney is a disgrace and represents everything that is wrong in politics. A mud slinging, back stabbing politician with a wife who got caught helping her family evade taxes on a gambling ring. The guy is just a rubber stamp for what the party wants and doesnt think outside the box. Never reaches across the isle or anything. You look at his voting record and it is more than 97% in favor of what the Democratic speaker wants. Hopefully we can come together and realize we deserve better than this. Richard Tisei announced he handed in his paper for a chance to run for Congress and I find nothing more thrilling than working again with a politician whos libertarian like ideals, social liberties and fiscal conservatism, along with his lovely husband, is more important to him than anything else. Tisei is all about bringing a new voice to Washington with the willingness to reach across the isle and gather support from those on the left. And how do I know he will do this? Because he has done it all his life in the state house and as the minority leader of the state house. Tisei represents everything you want out of a politician: smart, charismatic, understanding, and very caring. He is all about being the voice of the people regardless of your party. So I ask you this? If given the clearance to run, will you stand with me and support Richard Tisei in 2014? - Bradley Maravalli
