Your state may owe you money. Do you have forgotten bankbooks, - TopicsExpress

Your state may owe you money. Do you have forgotten bankbooks, move and kept old bank, had a relative die. New York web site below. Every state has money forfeited by people. Let me know if you find anything. If you do not make a deposit or withdrawal I think it is every 3 years, your whole account goes to the state. https://ouf.osc.state.ny.us/ouf/ I recommend that you do not do it online. I dont think computers are safe especially with wi-fi. Get the address and do it by mail. That is how I did it. Many of your friends are owed money. Also, go to the online white pages like people search. Type in your name and Staten Island not your address. If you pop up, so will your relatives and for a few dollars they can get a public record, driving record, wifes maiden name (If it applies), your employment etc. They can steal your identity. Get off as many white pages as you can. Google White Pages Also Google your name. You may find things about yourself that surprise you. Neal
