Youth Ranch Rodeo and Pleasure Gelding. Jake is a 12 yr old 15 hand sorrel gelding. It would be hard in a few words to say all the good about Jake. Hes been on the same place 8 yrs. During that time hes enabled a young boy to bring home several saddles and numerous buckles in roping. Hes also been used on barrels a little. Hes quiet and gentle EVERY time u catch him. Perfectly safe to pitch a kid up on bareback with a halter and lead rope and just let them go. Ride him anywhere u point his nose. Never spooks or scares at anything. If u want one to learn to rope on or for a kids ranch rodeo look no further. Pulls hard by the horn and really good using horse on the outside. Only reason he is for sale is the young man thats owned him had a bad ATV accident and wont be riding again for a long time. Hes 100% sound in every way. If u never used him as a rope or performance horse and just wanted one that you can be 100% sure you are safe to pleasure ride anywhere he is perfect. But if u looking for one that the kids can take and go win on at the ranch rodeos and playdays he sure be it. Asking $2000. Located north of Tyler Tx.
