Youve got a message from my Pastor!! Todays text was taken from Matt 14:22-23 ,where Jesus Walks On Water (I guess u knw it or heard bout it ), Heres a few pointers :) :) •Peter walked on water as long as he had his eyes fixed on Christ. •Once he (Peter) took his eyes off Christ, to look @ the storm, he began to Sink. •While sinking, he could have easily called on the apostles in the boat to help him since, he following #Christ caused him to almost drown. •But he called on the Lord!! Jesus to save him !!! With these we have to understand that • Christ desires that we have faith in him,and trust him as this would help us in our daily walk with him •The moment we take our eyes of his promises n plans for us due to the pressures n pleasures of this world, we begin to lose sink into a spate of sin,problems,trials,n transgressions •In order to find satisfaction or/and solutions to our now sinking lives, we easily start chasing worldly values of fame,success,achievements,e.t.c to satisfy our spiritual measures •in such moments, we should know that Christ is ready to lend us a helping hand, once we call on him, Like Peter. Hes mighty to save So why not check and see whom you are shouting to, for help. For the storms of life may cause us to quiver, but the Lord, would calm any river !! #GodBless. :) #Read
