Youve suspected it, its now confirmed; verified knuckle dragger here. DNA results back from National Geographic. 2% Neanderthal and 4% Denisovan , both ancient remnant markers left in DNA. Was neat to know that other markers showed was among the first group out of N. Africa, and made its was to Europe. Only a 2% variance from you average German. With high modern day DNA concentrations in Germany and Tuscany Italy. Family historical research stopped turning up relatives around 1540 in Scotland and Germany except for one line, which was fascinating. My grandmother was named Agnus Gilchrist. Her dads line back to Scotland began popping up family crests, then titles and much more accurate and complete data and soon I realized why. It actually traced back to Chalamagne Charlse 1, Holy Roman Empirer and King of Austria, France, Germany..and numerous characters in his line... Of course this is a very long time ago, as that line went back to 140 AD with great English records through much of the time on these people. Interesting stuff. Also had 3 verified from that same line that were radicals and fought in the American Revolution , one of which was so vocal that he named a son America in 1774.
