You’d think that since what Governor Brownback did — absolutely demolish income tax rates, sales taxes and corporate taxes in what he called a “real-live experiment” to try and spur growth in his state the way Republicans have insisted it can be done not just on the state level but the Federal level too — would have fiscal conservatives screaming from the mountaintops and begging to get photo ops with the bold governor who decided to walk the walk as well as talk the talk. The only problem? Kansas’ economy is in the absolute shit-house right now, and it’s all Brownback and his idiotic tax plan’s fault. - James Schlarmann
