You’ll never believe what happened the other day! I know someone who had an appointment she had to go to and couldn’t get a ride. Well, another friend of hers said it would be okay to take her car….The problem with that is the tags expired and no insurance. Now we all know the penalties for that; she could have received a moving violation charge, along with a big fine, ticket for each, car towed, license suspended… and the list goes on. She called her Attorney as soon as she was pulled over and let the officer writing her up know that she was on the phone with the attorney and was going to let him listen in on the conversation. The officer suddenly changed his tone and simply wrote her a ticket for no insurance and expired tags! They didn’t even tow her car away! What a relief to her! What person would not want to have protection like that? Thank goodness she has Legal Shield!!
