Yum yum. Now that Christmas dinner is over we can examine the weed killer many of us were eating. Glyphosate. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Round-up. You know that spray that we use to kill the pesky dandelions and other weeds in our yard. Well, Big Agriculture (you know who you are) uses it also to kill weeds. But you see, glyphosate also kills healthy plants...so BIg AG does something special to protect those plants. It genetically modifies them so that glyphosate does not kill them. That seems like a sound business practice, dont you think? Then we eat these genetically modified plants. Yum yum.
