Yup.. totally in need of another Facebook break. Im not on for 5 mins and Im flustered! Maybe Ill take this break till after Christmas! Maybe even after New Years! I just got so frustrated when reading someones sincere comments and questions after a beautiful video where two of the singers in the video are openly gay. The person commenting never said anything even remotely hateful; she just had questions and was trying to understand what so many of us just dont understand. Someone came back and told her she was full of HATE. Honestly there was nothing hateful in her words. She never put the gay group members down or anything else. She was sincerely trying to understand and wasnt bashing in any way. I thought it commendable in how she worded her statements so carefully to try and understand something that is a blatent sin. It was very sad no one could explain but only attack her and call her hateful and tell her to take her religion elsewhere. People that say Christians are intolerant are the same people who are intolerant of Christians! Just because I believe Gods Word is true and certain things are flat out wrong (because they are spoken of in the Bible) doesnt mean I am filled with HATE! I love you, b/c my LOVE comes from GOD! It is supposed to be unconditional! I love you and will love you, but I dont have to like with even one fiber of my being what you do and how you choose to live your life! It doesnt mean I HATE you! I am pretty sure the HATE is coming more from those who are intolerant of Christians and want to turn the whole world against us for their own agenda... It doesnt suprise me! Matthew 10:22 of GODs Word says, AND YE SHALL BE HATED OF ALL MEN FOR MY NAMES SAKE: BUT HE THAT ENDURETH TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED. Ill just be hated for being a CHRISTian ..and thats ok. Ill be called a hater for being a CHRISTian b/c I believe the Bible is the TRUE! GOD hasnt changed! Yes, this world has surely changed, but GOD HAS NOT CHANGED! If GOD has not changed HIS WORD HAS NOT CHANGED! For this reason, I am going to refer to OT scripture!! But OT is irrelevant now right? NO... ITs NOT! Again I repeat.. GOD HAS NOT CHANGED! HIS WORD HAS NOT CHANGED! Some people say OT is irrelevant because everything in the OT was the old covenant. Its covered by the blood of the new covenant. Just because its covered, doesnt mean its acceptable to do! The blood covers ALL SIN, but that doesnt mean you do ALL SIN! You still have to be REPENTANT! That means you have to TURN AWAY from the sin for the blood to cover it! OT is still relevant! Yes... Lev 18:22 is relevant!! Its in the WORD.. No denying it! And before anyone gets their nickers in a wad... yes there are lots of other sins! yes... I have committed plenty as have all human beings! No one can say he/she is perfect, except Christ JESUS, but we should all do our best to TURN AWAY FROM SIN and NOT ACCEPT it just because it makes us feel good inside or because todays society wants to tell us we are filled with hate!! If CHRISTIANs hated you, they wouldnt care if you made heaven or not! It wouldnt hurt their hearts!! They wouldnt be concerned! #ouch #didshejustSAYallthat
