Zac and Milli made these yummy banana balls over the weekend. They were so delicious and easy that I had to share on Mamas Group. 1 ripe banana, 8 Digestive biscuits, 1tsp ground cinnamon, 1tsp castor sugar. Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Crush the biscuits to a rustic crumb and stir in cinnamon and sugar. Mash the banana very well. Stir in about ¾ of the biscuit crumbs, reserving the remaining to roll balls in. The dough should be soft and malleable but not too sticky, add more crumbs if necessary. Roll teaspoonfuls into balls and gently toss in the remaining crumb mix to coat. Place on a baking tray and bake for 10-12mins. Remove and cool. Balls should be moist but not gooey. Best eaten the same day. This is a recipe from Food Babies Love by Emily Dupuche. Zac and Milli decided to add a cheeky little personal touch of white chocolate chips added to the mixture just before you roll the balls. Mmmmm! I’m afraid they weren’t around long enough to take any pic’s for you :)
