Zach & I wrote this tonight for extra credit in biology. Lets face it. Our two brains = creative genius. Im rather impressed that my creative writing chops are still pretty good. Science needs will enjoy.... In the year 2050, the world has made incredible progress. There is no world hunger, no war, no poverty and no crime. Science has found cures for Cancer, Flu, HIV and many other deadly diseases. Droids work along with humans in building roads, buildings, cars and houses. Things are perfect as far as we know. And then the world shifts. As the world began to change for what seemed to be the better, a small group of scientists warned against the effects of pollution and careless use of natural resources to further progress in the world. They were ignored. Fearing that their predictions would soon become real, this group was forced to prepare for the contamination and built a small community inside of a survival compound. Now, just as scientists had predicted, there has been a change in the environment. A contaminant in the air supply of the planet has changed things for the worst. People have started to become something that is not animal or human. They have become… Zombies. The compound is enclosed with high, thick shatterproof glass fencing to keep the infected away until they are needed. Scientists have discovered that there are certain Zombies who can be returned to their human selves and also help to vaccinate others against the airborne contamination, so many are captured and brought into the compound for testing and treatment. First, the infected are brought into a sterile chamber. This room slightly reduces the contamination of the Zombie and tests the infected person to determine if their condition may be reversed. This process begins feeding power to the conveyor belts. Next, the conveyor belts push the infected to either the crematorium or the extraction room. The crematorium is used for those Zombies who cannot be cured and cannot produce the antibodies to make the vaccine. Those subjects are immediately destroyed and returned to the Earth. The extraction room, designed and built only by droids, is where scientists reverse the effects of the contamination and extract the antibodies to make the new vaccine, which will then return the population to normal human existence. Once the antibodies are successfully taken from the infected subjects, they are finally sent to the vaccine production center and made into the formula that will cure the world of this life changing infection. Modern science may have caused the largest epidemic in human history, but was also able to reverse what it had set into motion… the cure for the common Zombie. 1. Nucleus: survival compound 2. Gogli Apparatus: vaccine production center 7. Nucleolus: droids 8. Ribosomes: extraction room
