Zadock update, Animal Lovers! Some of you may remember me - TopicsExpress

Zadock update, Animal Lovers! Some of you may remember me posting about our special senior cat, Zadock, who had to be surrendered at 17 years old. Weve had some people scoping him out on facebook and HESs website, but he is still waiting for someone to come in and actually meet him. (And of course fall in love with him. Which is impossible to not do after you meet him!) Ive included his original bio below with his picture. If you think you might be willing to give this senior a loving family, please consider bringing this incredibly sweet boy in to your home! -Megan Meet Zadock! Zadock is a an incredibly sweet 17 year old boy. But do not let his age deter you! He has no health issues, doesnt mind other cats, and is super handsome with those big, piercing green eyes. Oh, and did I mention that he is also super sweet?!?! Ive spoken before about how shelter life can be especially hard for seniors because theyve often been in a home for years and suddenly not having a home or a family any longer is especially difficult on them mentally and emotionally. Despite Zadocks hard situation, he is still sweet and loving. His favorite thing to do is headbutt you. He loves to rub up against you with his head, and his tail goes in to the typical kitty question mark when he gets love. He will purr very lightly when you pet him or even if he just gets to be around you. While this sweet old man does enjoy his naps, he is also still inquisitive and curious. He is also a hard worker-he helped us do some work on the computer this afternoon. Zadock also likes to talk to you. He thinks he is meowing, but almost no noise comes out. He sounds like hes croaking-like a very furry, non-green, quiet frog. He also has this amazing ability to make anyone smile. Just a couple of minutes around this handsome, headbutting, frog wannabe, and you will not be able to keep from smiling. I guarantee it! Zadock is looking for an open-minded family that will not see the age 17 and let that scare them off. Although he is in his golden years, he is still spry, sweet, and healthy. And he definitely deserves to live in a loving home surrounded by a family that sees him for the special find he is rather than all alone at the shelter. Come by HES this week between 11:00 and 5:00 (open until 6:00 on Thursday) and give Zadock the second chance he deserves at a happy life. He will warm your heart and your home with love and gratitude!
