Zambia Reports Expose Brings Sanity to Chingola Police After Zambia Reports exposed the filthy conditions of holding cells at Chingola Central Police station, the command swung into action trying to improve the battered image. Prisoners currently in remand were transported to the stations in droves and were joined by Mulonga Water and Sewage Company to make the place a little bit habitable. The officers also searched detainees for phones and cameras on Sunday to make sure such images will not leak to the media again. On Friday, Zambia Reports published images exposing the status of the police cells and Chingola Police much to the annoyance of senior officers. The Chingola holding cell initially built to house 20 inmates but now accommodates double the number is in deplorable state and posing a health risk to both police officers and offenders.
