Zamenhof Art is not a classic gallery nor an agency. It’s an independent association by artists for artists. It began through the initiative of some emerging artists to promote artists and veritable projects without considering sales-speculation or client orientated logistics. The aim is to allow emerging talents to propose their work in places for evaluation, with attention to quality and originality only. Every year the selected artists are updated and renovated. The activities are self-financed with a sales percentage and membership payments plus fees for events. The selected artists, young and emerging, or also well known, proposed by Zamenhof, revive the experiences of the great avant-garde of the 2nd half of the 19th century, like the Italian influence (Fontana, Burri, Vedova, Afro, Rotella , Arte Povera, Transavantgarde) in summoning, elaborating, contaminating styles, techniques and theoretical approaches with high technique and intellectual refinement in a particular interpretation as with post modern contemporary art. And further, while working rigorously and with humility, yet not giving in to easy sensationalism or unnecessary empty provocations.
