Zbigniew Brezezinski, President Jimmy Carters former national security advisor and Obamas former foreign policy adviser wrote, The Grand Chessboard in 1997 arguing the US had to take Ukraine to keep Russia from being a superpower. It seems neocons in Washington are following his strategy along with the President and John Kerry also. I am in agreement with Ron Paul on this one, we shouldve stayed out, but no, our people like Victoria Nuland and State Department are funding through NGOs the extremist factions like Right Sector or Svoboda parties that have taken over now. So, instead of demonizing Putin, Im in agreement with Rand Paul and think we must have a respectful relationship with the Russian and stop trying to build an empire of American hegemony.
