Zero is so adorable that even when shes lying through her teeth and Osprey knows it, Osprey cant help but pretend she didnt notice and ruffle her hair. Exchange basically went like this: Since were literally curled up in bed with each other, wanna tell me your real name? Zero isnt a handle. I dont have a real name. Uh...........why? *long silence* AMNESIA!! I forgot my name so I picked Zero to confuse Cybersecurity Bureau internal servers! *explains why* *gears mesh inside Ospreys head* LOL ARENT YOU A CLEVER COOKIE *lets the subject drop* Poor Osprey is mortified of the thought that Zero has been misleading her all this time, so she just hugs Zero a little tighter and brushes the bald-faced lie under the rug. In Ospreys defense, Zeros magic secret identity isnt THAT bad. Shes basically who she said she is, and who Osprey thinks she is - genius hacker and coffee maker extraordinaire. The fact that shes an Abomination, a piece of malware that escaped from the Primitive through the body reconstruction system, only matters if the CSB finds out. Or kills her. Because if shes back in the Primitive, she becomes the digital shadow of God, and the poor thing never really had the best self control. So yeah, thats Tired Kaywens rant on the state of ASCEND at the moment XD
