ZipCar has teamed up with the Patterson Park Neighborhood Association to offer members discounted Zipcar memberships and rates. Instead of paying $60 for an annual membership and a $25 application fee, PPNA members pay only $25 for a first year annual membership and no application fee. Join at zipcar/balcommunityassoc Zipcar provides the freedom of “wheels when you want them” in neighborhoods where members live and work. Members can reserve cars by the hour or by the day at rates which include gas, insurance and other costs associated with car ownership. Zipcar provides fun, environmentally friendly vehicles such as the Toyota Prius hybrid, along with useful utility vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, as well as exciting luxury vehicles including the BMW 328. Zipcars are located in more than 18 neighborhoods around Baltimore to help reduce car ownership in residential areas where residents have multiple vehicles, increase public transit ridership, and encourage Baltimore citizens to become more responsible, eco-conscious drivers.
