Zulu needs our help tonight to find a new home. Please share Zulu to find an adopter or foster tonight because tomorrow will be to late. A staff member writes: "Zulu is a beautiful, bright eyed boy with a coat deeply marbled in light and dark chocolate. He is a stunner, simultaneously muscular and delicately compact. With a curiosity that makes him quite self sufficient and keeps him happily entertained, Zulu moves through the backyard quickly and with purpose, making frequent stops in front of other dogs to say hello and lift up his hind leg as a special greeting. He may not have the best manners, but Zulu certainly seems to be a fan of his canine neighbors. Conversely, while kenneled, our young man is polite and quiet, patiently waiting his turn for daily walks and treats. He is smartly cautious with strangers and may take a little time to warm up but, once comfortable, Zulu is fine with all forms of handling and enjoys petting sessions as well as his share of roughhousing. On leash, Zulu is strong and determined, but easy enough to manage and already somewhat responsive to correction. He is likely housetrained as he eliminates immediately outside and his den is rarely soiled. Zulu has managed his time here well while on DOH hold for a minor bite, and he has been consistently even tempered. He would make an excellent companion for a physically fit, experienced family with or without older kids or four legged siblings."
