I am in Mutare, Zimbabwe and am enjoying the fruits of my lack of fame which allow me to travel anywhere after proper planning of course and for as long as I want inconspicuously! Thus I can lose and gain weight when and for how long I want. But others are not so lucky... We wont mention names here, will we now Hon Esau Milanzi? They lose a gram and we pounce on them like tiger fish! Mutare is awash with what I have coined the-50-people- news. For the uninitiated, this is about the star rally held here a few days ago which was attended by 50 people! Strictly speaking, my little girl had a greater audience at church last Sabbath when she was, as usual, telling little false stories to he captivated little friends. So, 50 people attended the star rallly: part of those were police in uniform... Then there were those in plain clothes... Then there were journalists... Then there were those on PISI business... Then there were those from The spy agency... Then there were those that came to sell stuff like airtime re-charge cards, belts, cell-phone chargers, lolly-pops, mushonga wemapete and so forth and could just not lose out on the opportunity to make a few sales... Then there were those that came to see the man who was not on diet but is now on diet... Then there were those who thought the massive crowd was part of one supermarket chains grand challenge... Then there were those who thought residential stands were being issued out... Then there were those who decided they best have a good head-start should their perceived disribution of sugar beans commence soon... Good people, I am leaving for Harare tomorrow before leaving the country on Monday and Milanzi Village across the Zambezi will desire to know how many people really came to the star rally? Oh, by the way, at least 20 of those present were our own observers... That is why I said zvinopedza ma powerless izvi. Kkkkkkk.
