! ___ ITALIAN CITIES This proposed exhibition allows you to experience a journey across the peninsula through its cities. It is like looking through a scrapbook where we are privileged to see from an insider’s perspective. By entering into the the working class suburbs of small towns, we can observe the life of the communities in the town squares as well as exploring new suggestive scenarios in the great city centres. We are able to have a taste of the variety that is presented, as the result of different cultures and lifestyles by virtue of the climate and history. The cities change, as much as their points of view . It could be a bird’s eye view that freezes above, like in a scale model with miniature human figures inside colossal architecture, or instead as mosaics that harmonically notate details like a musical symphony, or even through being immersed in the ancient history which is impregnated in us. It is through the watchful eye of the photojournalist that we are able to see the facts as he lived them and shared them. This collection of small and large Italian cities, is a diary of a sentimental journey.
