a few thoughts on Joss Whedons Much Ado About Nothing: 1) Easily my favorite Shakespeare adaptation, 2) The entire cast is great, but Nathan Fillion, Clark Gregg and Amy Acker are especially terrific, 3) They cut out the monologue of doom! how dare they!, 4) When Benedick says Soft and Fair Friar, Im pretty sure most of Lawrence heard my laughter, 5) Hey Nonny Nonny somehow became an awesome under Whedon, 6) I had so much fun comparing the film version to my experience in the stage show, 7) Mike Danski, I bet you will wish we had done this version, and 8) I will always love this story and wouldnt trade the memories of being in it and working with all my amazing friends at Sterling for anything.
