a good friend of mine has created a kite/windsurf/eco tourism outfit in east java that i think you guys should know about. i have kited up there and it was so beautiful to sail back and forth between north bali and east java chasing the flying fish and dodging turtles. the trade winds accelerate as they are squeezed between bali and java creating a virtual wind tunnel making for great wind sport conditions! huge volcanoes, clear water, a small island with amazing butter flat water on the leeward side, and amazing sunrises. i have heard of magical trekking to the top of the volcano, cant wait to go have a look! go check them out!
