a plant from Aesperia Name: Heat Tea Grass (formerly known as Melting Grass) Type: Grass Habitat: Other World: Aesperia: grows in the northern regions of the equivalent of Japan. Description: Looks like a thick stock grass that curves inwards at the top in a loop. The base near the ground is white while the rest is green. History/Abilities: This grass is found in mountain areas near hot springs. The grass was noted as never having snow on it or right around its base; for this reason it was originally named melting grass. Locals discovered while looking for plants that could be used for medicine that this grass has an odd effect while digesting of producing something that causes a warming of the body. This warming helps keep people warm in very cold weather and has been grown since this discovery as a local remedy for the cold. As such the name was changed to Heat Tea grass as many began to call it the same name as the tea made from it. Other than its warming tea, and ability to melt snow around it, this grass has no other special properties.
