a yr ago this past Friday, I got shocking news. A fist size tumor was found and dr said it was not able to be removed, and would spread. I walked out of the office scared, mad, nervous. I managed to get almost home before I called my husband and lost it. I remember making out my obituary and writing each of my kids a letter. I made up in my mind I wasnt having a pity party, but was going to live life to the fullest. I opted not to have any sort of treatments as I felt it would be worse on my family, but I did decide to go ahead with a procedure scheduled for Jan 28. I went to church and their was a request for people needing prayer to come forward. I went forward, not really for myself, but for my husband and kids. I wanted them to be able to have peace of mind and be taken care of, and to know above all else, I love them so much. When I walked back to my seat, I was overcome with peace. When I went to the dr, he had to try 3 procedures before one took and I remember him looking at me, and saying wow how strange, that thing is gone!! but I wasnt registering his words. Two days went by, and I got a call from his office. He said im not sure what went on with you, or what you heard me say, but that tumor is gone, and I just want you to know that you are going to be fine. I nearly fell over..I ended up having another surgery in April, but God was there. Braylon was very ill, and it looked like dooms day approaching, but again he was a trooper and made it through, each day he praised God. for those of you that dont believe in the power of prayer, I and my family are true living testimonies. Is each day easy?? no, but we all face trials..God promised to never leave us or forsake us, and He holds not just today, but He holds tomorrow as well. No matter what you may be going though, have faith to know you are never alone.
