admittedly, i admire some of the Islamic Scholars. why? i watch peace tv sometimes. they teach the word, try to make you see reason to believe, to accept the faith. a lot of the Christian preachers (at least the ones i see on tv) dont do this. Like Otabil and a few others i know, i think the rest of our men of God have to learn to teach the word, instead of always standing at the pulpit and yelling religion at the congregants. it is one reason i would rather not go to a protestant church. i want to be taught. not yelled at or made to think that the preacher is more righteous than i am or that he has powers to make things happen. to me, it is not true that the ways of God defy logic. i would rather say it takes logic to understand what God is all about.
