..........after weeks sojourn into the slums of Nairobi my entire thought process has been overhauled...i have appreciated one thing...human beings are resilient and hardy...after seeing a beautiful baby girl bathe with squalid sewage water i thought...wow she looks healthy...my mind raced to the babies whose mere exposure to cold will lead to hospitalization...the upper class babies...the greatest lesson from all this is...God will give us the challenges we can cope with and not excess...second informal settlements is a product of Capitalism and the hall mark of human greed..where the strong and bright will lord over the weak exploit them to achieve their selfish ambitions.....and....that slums can not be eliminated because big fish in cahoots with international NGOs,,USAID,,,GTZ....etc..and the mother of all Africa problems UN....will always want to maintain the status quo so that people(UN) remain in employment...that is why UN will always forment crises and proxy wars to remain afloat...and maintain relevance.
