alright yall i have to get this off my chest before i go to bed tonight.. it bothers me IMMENSELY.. so ive was recently invited by Virgo Gotstohaveresidual Glass to this group called REAL TALK that is a private group that discusses a lot of social issues apparently in this private group. one of the issues being discussed was of how men feel about letting their women post provocative pictures of themselves on the internet. Now yall know how i like to delve deep into social issues and discuss/debate hot topics and give my rational opinions when asked. Most times I elaborate (bc if they werent that would be a true waste of the money Sallie Mae is calling me to get back RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT) for thorough understanding and because Im coming from a perspective most instances where many are oblivious too. BUT TONIGHT just made me shake my DAMN HEAD when i posted a response that literally about about 6-7 lines of texts and 4-5 people (Whom are black like the group is predominantly) chimed in on the discussion and shunned the comments i made because they failed to READ the comment. BUT YET they chose to AGREE because the ones who ACTUALLY read the comment liked the status... while this i no big deal or anything to lose sleep over.. its bothers me because these are VOTERS, people who have a say in matters and dont even know the depth of the magnitude of power they have in their own educational and comprehensive prowess. these are the people who more the likely are complaining about issues but doing nothing to understand them let along fix them.. these are people who are quick to judge and give two cents but wont read the fine print. ...now TELL ME WHERE have you heard THIS before? ... the bigger issue and question at hand is this.. where are the LEADERS at? where are the ones who are willing to utilize the education and find out things instead of asking others for information? where are the free thinkers? .. WHERE ARE YALL AT!?!!? in this crazy era we are in we need you more then ever.
