and now we pause for a commercial announcement: I am known for my ability to clean up horribly dirty clothes, it is referred to as my granny magic. The one consistent failure is spots, like from salad dressing on my own T shirts. A napkin in my lap is a joke, if a dribble makes it over the top ledge it wont get past the tummy bulge. I saw the ad on TV about a form of Tide liquid detergent that will take out stains that have gone through the dryer. Yeah, sure, sez I. However, I invested in the smallest bottle on the shelf, put it directly on the spots, used the scrubber on top of the bottle cap, washed it in warm water and dried it in the dryer and .... not a trace of oil spots remain!
