...and so it began like a joke in some Nigerian churches where the ladies decided to wear skimpy attires to their services and people fought it but ended up losing the fight. Today, what has become a trend is the type of indecent attire that some ladies put on while going to church . Some of these ladies purposely wear all manner of designs thereby exposing either their cleavages or their thigh all in the name of dressing and the next thing you hear is “it is not the body that matters but the mind and the heart. OR God is not interested in the outward appearance but the inward appearance. They even quote the bible saying, it is not what you take in that defileth a man but what comes out of the heart... I so marvel and shake my head at these assertions. For the men, some of them would end up losing focus when some of these sisters enter the church There is a hardly a difference between club girls and the ‘sisters.’ The question now is WHO SHOULD BE BLAMED? Is it all about evolving trends and should it be extended to the church? I see ladies trying to adjust their strapless top or pulling up their trousers when they get up and I ask myself, WHO SAY MAKE YOU WEAR AM IN THE FIRST PLACE? I am not judging or condemning anyone...
