and the question of the day today is .... is my daughter failing school? or is the school failing my daughter? ... a little back ground , my daughter sat her gcse maths last year and got a low grade . wanting to go on to 6th form to study sports level 3 she had to agree to retake the exam and pass grade c or above or they wouldnt take her on , she agreed and so her 6th form year began , for the 1st month there wa no maths lessons while they sorted out her time tables , then she had 1 lesson 1 hour for 4 weeks ,ok all going good . the teacher then left so they gave them a forein teacher who lasted a further 4 weeks , 1 of which she didnt show up . since then she has had 1 10 min lesson with a maths teacher . in my calculations thats 7 hours and 10 mins of maths in the last 30 weeks taking out term holidays she has 9 weeks left before her exam and 3 weeks of that is easter holiday and half term , so back to the question , is my daughter gonna fail her exams because of her or because of the school ? opinions below good or bad please sounds trivial but it wil help her and me
