as a Christian I am compelled to filter life through the pages and principles of Scripture. It is only through the prism of Gods Word do I understand the behaviors of people in this world. The Word delineates the moral and spiritual defect of man. It explains what this condition motivates and drives men to do. Wickedness cannot be laid at the feet of God. Wickedness is the best man can do. Man is capable of gunning down innocent people for a simple cartoon or throwing their 5 yr old little girl off of a 60 bridge into cold water, killing her. Man is capable of behaviors which defy description or comprehension...and there are those who say God is not needed in human culture! We are a toxic little form of life in this world. We paint and gloss over our infectious, vile nature with religion, morality, or charity. Only Christ can clean this mess up in a persons life. I am not pushing anything on anyone. I can only tell you what has happened to me and countless other people who were at one time alienated from God by our very natures and came to faith in the Son of God as our substitute for sin by death. I am an optimist by nature. Nothing that happens on the planet can change that. The God I know by name and to whom I am kin by blood is my Father and personal Friend. That is the very foundation upon which I stand to look into this world and see just how very accurate the Bible really is!
