as for apprenticeships....my elder relatives remember a time when every working class lad could get a skill if they were better with their brains with mechanics, building etc..like my family.....under Gordon Brown, apprenticeships were paid for by the govt in our College, so kids could train and THEN get a good, skilled job..panies loved it........since 2010, a lad can only get an apprenticeship if he already has a job and his firm are paying for it....I taught English to apprentices that have had to leave their courses because they dont yet have a job and someone to pay for it....this has been a tragedy....and with the recession caused by the bankers, numbers of building firms taking them on have dropped dramatically.....YET, Norman Baker and the Coalition of right wingers and liberals claim there are MORE apprentices......its all a lie and propaganda....and heres the truth...if you betray the working class and their kids, you open the door to fascists like Farage and UKIP.....we need to be worried....
